little peanut

with her red hair
toothless grin
intense gaze
silly laugh

i love her
farting
and tummy pains
and shrill cry

so unexpected
was she
her hard life
ahead of her

i would take it
all away
if i could
make it better

i moved for her
for them
i would move mountains
seek the impossible

here i am
the doting grams
in love with
this little creature

  1. There’s something very special about using words poetically. Well done! But I really called by to leave my thanks for your recent decision to follow Learning from Dogs. You are welcome to share your poetry over at my place.
